When you need an entire machine.
Consider a dedicated server when your workload needs hardware allocated to one project. A higher core count alone does not make a server the better fit; compare CPU, memory, storage and network options together.
Choose memory and storage layout
Compare memory capacity with the application’s working set. Check disk type, capacity and multiple-disk requirements in the configuration. RAID or another disk does not replace an independent backup plan.
Plan the physical transition
Changing hardware differs from increasing virtual resources. Discuss migration, access, setup and delivery timing before ordering. Plan application maintenance and licence requirements separately.

Share the OS version, software licences, disk layout and remote access method you need. Confirm available options and any additional cost for the selected server. Setup timing depends on the product and preparation required.
